Daddy's Long were created and designed by Karen Germany, As a designer, Karen's goal was to create a collection that would make the collector smile and characters that would make you think of someone special. Beginning in 1985, Karen began designing good quality ethnic products, Karen developed Daddy s Long Legs dolls into a predominately African-American collection. This unique family of dolls gave collectors the special dolls for over thirteen years. Sadly, in July 2003 the company has retired the entire Daddy's Long Legs® due to rising costs of domestic production.This highly collectable, line is now very hard to find.
