Key Location: The key is located in the railing by the main door.
History on back: "Christ Church was established in 1736 by John and Charles Wesley, who came to Georgia as missionaries of the Church of England. The first church on this site was built in 1820, but was nearly destroyed later in the Civil War. In 1884, the present church was built by Anson Green Phelps Dodge, Jr. as a memorial to his wife, Ellen. After completion of the church, Anson Dodge took Holy Orders and became the rector of the church he had built, serving there until his death in 1898.
