Daddy's Long  were created and designed by Karen Germany, As a designer, Karen's goal was to create a collection that would make the collector smile and characters that would make you think of someone special. Beginning in 1985, Karen began designing good quality ethnic products, Karen developed Daddy's Long Legs dolls into a predominately African-American collection. This unique family of dolls gave collectors the special dolls for over thirteen years. Sadly, in July 2003 the company has retired the entire Daddy's Long Legs® due to rising costs of domestic production.This highly collectable, line is now very hard to find.
